The SHT-9000 RFID handheld reader is suitable for easy reading of UHF transponders. The data is transmitted via WLAN or Bluetooth LE. It is also possible to control the device remotely via the built-in interfaces, e.g. to write the data to a database in real time.
If the handheld reader is ordered together with the SBS-1010 base station, both devices are preconfigured so that the handheld reader behaves like a device connected directly to the PC when the base station is connected to a PC. This reduces the configuration effort and makes pairing with the PC via Bluetooth superfluous. Alternatively, the handheld reader can be configured so that it can be connected to a PC, smartphone or tablet as a Bluetooth LE keyboard, similar to a barcode scanner.
